Introduction

This document outlines the legal and operational framework for owners to submit their items for evaluation, marketing, and sale via bid.sa, an auction platform based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Submission implies agreement with the following:

1. Submission & Initial Evaluation

  1. Owners may submit items using the online form or email.
  2. Submissions must include clear photos and full details: item type, dimensions, material, estimated age, country of origin, condition, supporting documentation (ownership or authenticity).
  3. Initial evaluations are free of charge and processed within five (5) business days.

2. Review & Acceptance

  1. The platform reserves the right to accept or reject any item without providing justification.
  2. If initially accepted, the owner will be contacted to coordinate item delivery and further inspection.

3. Documentation & Verification

  1. Legal proof of ownership must be provided by the owner.
  2. Certificates of authenticity or technical reports should be submitted where available.
  3. The platform reserves the right to physically examine the item or refer it to a certified expert.

4. Listing Agreement & Promotion

  1. The listing agreement will only be prepared and signed after: the item is physically received at the company's premises, verified for authenticity, condition, and consistency with the submitted documentation and images.
  2. The agreement shall specify: listing duration, commission rate, option to set a reserve price, seller's legal and factual obligations.
  3. Misrepresentation or false information is grounds for cancellation without liability.

5. Item Delivery & Photography

  1. The item must be physically delivered to the company in Riyadh, or via approved channels.
  2. Professional photography will be provided upon receipt.
  3. The owner bears the risk of any damage during shipping unless delivered in person.

6. Auction Listing

  1. Items will be scheduled in an appropriate auction based on category and valuation.
  2. The platform does not guarantee the sale or pricing outcome; results depend on market demand.

7. Post-Sale Process

  1. If sold, the owner receives payment (net of commission) within 5–10 business days.
  2. If unsold, the platform will coordinate with the owner to either relist or return the item.

8. Legal Responsibility

  1. The submission of stolen, restricted, or unlawfully owned items is strictly prohibited.
  2. The platform assumes no liability for false or misleading information provided by owners.

9. Right to Cancel Sale Request

  1. The owner may cancel a sale request prior to: formal acceptance by the platform, or commencement of evaluation or auction preparation.
  2. Cancellation must be made via the "Sale Requests" section in the owner's account.
  3. After processing begins, cancellations are only allowed with written approval and may incur evaluation or administrative fees.
  4. The platform reserves the right to recover any expenses incurred prior to cancellation.
